I Think, Therefore I Am . . . Not . . . Maybe

In a 6 - 3 opinion, the Supreme Court said that the First Amendment's free speech protections permitted the web designer, Lorie Smith (303 Creative LLC), to refuse to extend her services to same-sex marriages. For the first time in history, the Supreme Court granted a business open to the public a constitutional right to discriminate against would-be customers.
Ms. Smith has never created a wedding website (gay or straight), but "thought about it"! What stood in her way was a Colorado public accommodation law that requires all businesses open to the public to offer full and equal access to goods and services that the business offers. Her argument was that this law violated her free speech to services people who might offend her.
This is a statement from the Boulder County Chamber, Colorado:
"If you have never watched your rights be taken away on television, you cannot begin to understand how LGBTQ+ people are feeling today," Mardi Moore, executive director of Out Boulder County, stated in a news release. "Today's (303 Creative) decision does not include a clearly defined legal limiting principle... This opinion is unclear, unsound, and may have an immense impact on the rights of all members of protected classes, including LGBTQ+ people."
But Wait! There's More! This whole lawsuit was based on a lie and the Supreme Court DID NOT do due diligence to investigate it! Lorie Smith named "Stewart" — and included a website service request from him, listing his phone number and email address in 2017 court documents. But Stewart told The Associated Press he never submitted the request and didn’t know his name was invoked in the lawsuit until he was contacted by a reporter from The New Republic, which first reported his denial.
“I was incredibly surprised given the fact that I’ve been happily married to a woman for the last 15 years,” said Stewart, who declined to give his last name for fear of harassment and threats. His contact information, but not his last name, were listed in court documents.
HUMANKIND HAS BEEN DOWN THIS ROAD BEFORE!!

Do you remember this from July, 2017? Donald Trump speaking to law enforcement officers at Long Island, New York:
“When you see these towns and when you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just see them thrown in, rough, and I said, ‘Please don’t be too nice,’” Trump said. “Like when you guys put somebody in the car and you’re protecting their head, you know, the way you put their hand over, like, don’t hit their head and they’ve just killed somebody, don’t hit their head, I said, ‘You can take the hand away, OK?’” he added.
Why did I bring that up in context?
I am thinking of a business model. And because as we have learned from above ~ thinking about it can make it so!
  • Opening a bookstore called Tangina ~ But (Get it? Tangina from the movie Poltergeist had a line that stuck in people's heads to this day, "All are welcome. All are welcome.")
  • My employees will be of all colors and every spectrum of the LBGTQ rainbow and their allies.
  • I will hire a Mixed Martial Arts trained bouncer at the front door. This person WILL NOT kindly ask you to leave Karen/Ken! You will be physically taken out the door and THROWN on to the sidewalk.
    • "Jesus Saves" t-shirt ~ Nope! I have an Atheist employee ~ BOUNCED
    • MAGA attire ~ BOUNCED
    • Confederate flag ~ BOUNCED
    • Racist slogans of any kind on your clothing ~ BOUNCED
    • You spew ANY hate filled bile from your lips ~ BOUNCED
Now am I condoning violence? Of course not! The dark side of our world society is pushing really hard for a "Civil War". Many are dismissing this because it is preposterous to think of the historical version of "Civil War" as brothers fighting/killing brothers, sisters against sisters, neighbors against neighbors.
But it is my contention that we are ALREADY in a Civil War. The conservatives on the Supreme Court are striping away our rights little by little. AND we are letting them do it! State and local lawmakers are allowing discrimination in housing, voting, school boards and more. AND we are letting them do it! Law enforcement has for years discriminated based on race ~ AND we let them do it!
DON'T LET THEM DO IT! AND THIS IS HOW:

VOTE LIKE OUR LIVES DEPEND ON IT!
IT DOES!

This is for our LGBTQ community and all allies. This wonderful dance piece goes into detail of the large spectrum of the community. Because you harm one ~ you harm ALL!
